Group show at the Parc de La Villette, Paris
Posted: October 11, 2011 Filed under: exhibitions Leave a comment »My video CROSSING, with performance by Leticia Sekito, is being shown at the exhibition L’OEIL SUR LES RUES, which opens tomorrow, October 12 2011.
For the first time in its history, the Parc de la Villette presents an exhibition devoted to video art at the Paul-Delouvrier Pavilion.
Visitors are invited to wander freely in these worlds where streets emerge and exist through our dreams, our desires, our rages, our loves, and where personal experiences are sometimes intimate and sometimes familiar or not.
Twenty-three recognized or emergent video directors from various countries explore our urban experiences by shaking up our certainties. Video-graphic representations such as Impressionist snatches, short stories or visual poems inspired by movies, literature, paintings or animations illustrate the exhibition.
