The screening A CURIOUS SENSE OF CALM, curated by Alysse Stepanian, will be presented at the Torrance Art Museum in Los Angeles on January 28th. It will present my videos DESESMETAK (2009), WE (2007) and CROSSING (2003).

Exhibition in Sweden

Art:screen has curated the program MOVEMENT to be presented at the Vetlanda Museum in Sweden, from January 21 to February 19. It includes my video DESESMETAK (2009), with performance by the Brazilian dancer Irineu Nogueira.

ACTUS is one of the 75 short films competing for the Grand Prix at the 30th Uppsala International Short Film Festival. It will be screened on 26, 27 and 28 of October.

The ECVP Vol.3 has screening in Angoulême

Group show at the Parc de La Villette, Paris

My video CROSSING, with performance by Leticia Sekito, is being shown at the exhibition L’OEIL SUR LES RUES, which opens tomorrow, October 12 2011.

For the first time in its history, the Parc de la Villette presents an exhibition devoted to video art at the Paul-Delouvrier Pavilion.

Visitors are invited to wander freely in these worlds where streets emerge and exist through our dreams, our desires, our rages, our loves, and where personal experiences are sometimes intimate and sometimes familiar or not.

Twenty-three recognized or emergent video directors from various countries explore our urban experiences by shaking up our certainties. Video-graphic representations such as Impressionist snatches, short stories or visual poems inspired by movies, literature, paintings or animations illustrate the exhibition.

Street video
Participants are to discover some of the movies shown as part of the exhibition under the supervision of a young female director. Then, they will be asked to give free rein to their creativity and direct a video.

ACTUS is one of the 23 works nominated for the TRANSITIO_MX award. The festival takes place in Mexico City between September 30 and October 09.

Solo show presents new video-installation in Zurich

Next Friday, September 23, I open the exhibition THE FILM THAT IS NOT THERE in Zurich. The video-installation was developed during the 3 months art residency at Rote Fabrik and has the participation of 62 Swiss actors.
